Forgive my informality for contacting you in this manner, but I have a concern with regard to the new warding system. Will Millicent Bulstrode be included in the bans on wards to death eaters? My concern is that without the support of Draco and myself she will be completely isolated, and it will make her tasks for the ministry even more difficult. If you could provide some insight into this matter, I would be most appreciative.

Loathe as I am to air such ridiculous nonsense, I am of the impression that things are spiralling wildly out of the realm of common sense.
Maximus, you will cease any and all speculation about Augustus's sexuality, and if you insist upon ignoring that warning, then you will leave me out of your gossip. I have never said nor implied that Augustus is abnormal in any sense. Further suggestion that I have will result in consequences.

I have absolutely no desire for you to get in bad favour with the death eaters and, Merlin forbid, your journal be read with what I am about to say. Obviously, they could still read this, but I think there is a slightly reduced chance than if I detail it in your own post.
I think it may be prudent for you to strongly consider a deal with the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. You could offer them death eaters or to relay their plans. They're already doomed -- we need to think about you right now.

Mr Avery, I apologise for the poor timing of this question, but Draco directed me to you and as I am unclear as to when would be appropriate timing, please answer it at your leisure. I am uncertain what I can provide in recompense as my assets have been frozen, but I can send you what little I have if you would find it useful, or perhaps supplies.
I find myself in a quandry regarding my late father's house and assets. They were seized after the Ministry's reformation because my father was a death eater.
I directed my solicitor to make the defence that as my father was killed before the Dark Lord's fall, his assets had shifted to my possession, making the seizure under the new act groundless. He is doing a rather poor job and I am at a loss as to the legal recourse I may take. If you have any insight or suggestions I would appreciate guidance.

The proceedings regarding my father's house are not going well, and I doubt this latest rash of murders is going to put the Wizengamot in a better mood for our meeting next week. My solicitor is meant to be taking the tact that as my father died before the ministry had changed hands, the house already transferred to me and thus the repossession act is null and void. I have to say he is going about it very poorly. I cannot be reduced to living in this pathetic flat for the rest of my damned life, and those assets are mine. I am tired of being treated like a criminal when I did nothing to warrant these actions and find it ironic that the very attitudes the ministry is railing against -- prejudice by birthright -- are the very ones they uphold. It becomes increasingly more difficult not to sympathise with my father's ideas about the need to preserve pureblood power when one is so vehemently persecuted.

It cannot help but come to my attention that we scarcely speak to one another any more. I am puzzled at how this can be. Are we to allow this 'brave new world' to divide us? The trials have been one affront after another, and yet we say nothing. These protests against purist shop owners has been allowed to go on with barely a whisper from our class, while the sixth years organise counter protests and hand out (controversial as they are) leaflets? Are we so apathetic to our futures? My house has been taken from me. Draco has been forced to remain indoors. Millicent and Daphne have suffered the indecency of trials.
Are we really content to sit here in silence while every dignity is stripped of us? What have we become? Are we mudbloods, happy to sit and smile for the slaughter? There must be action we can take.

Good evening, Mr Lestrange. I do hope the wilderness is finding you well. I have just had the most curious conversation with one Anthony Goldstein, who is apparently interested enough in the man whom he killed and who misplaced his eye to ask very careless questions of a death eater's son.
I am curious if your group has any information regarding the fatalities of the Hogwarts battle. If so, it may be a simple matter to learn whom it was he so inconsiderately ended.
